Every week, 38 Australians are diagnosed with myeloma.
In May 2021, as part of Myeloma Awareness Month, we launched the 38mate Awareness Initiative. It was designed to raise awareness about myeloma and show support and solidarity for those living with myeloma. Even now, the 38mate message is still being heard across the country and the globe, reaching nearly 100,000 people to date.
Today, we ask you to continue to show your support by being a part of 3.8 with a mate!
3.8 with a mate is Myeloma Australia’s first ever national fundraising and awareness walk. This community event is our way of further supporting the 38mates who are diagnosed with myeloma each week in Australia.
