Partner with us

As Australia’s only dedicated myeloma charity, and as a not-for-profit organisation that does not receive government funding, we are powered by partnerships.

If your business is interested in engaging in a partnership with Myeloma Australia, we’d love to speak with you. Together, we can be there to support, inform and empower the 18,000 Australians who are living with myeloma, and their loved ones.

No two business partnerships look the same, and we will work with you to develop a bespoke partnership that has mutual benefit. We create corporate partnerships that:

  • Align with your Corporate Social Responsibility strategy;
  • Provide tax-effective donation and sponsorship opportunities;
  • Foster employee engagement and connection with cause; and
  • Provide ample opportunities for public recognition of your generosity and impact.

Some examples of ways your business may be able to engage with Myeloma Australia include:

Regular workplace giving

Employees have the option to make a pre-tax donation to Myeloma Australia via their workplace payroll. Some businesses choose to match their employees’ donations. Myeloma Australia is registered with good2give, a purpose-built workplace giving platform that is utilised by over 150 businesses in Australia and New Zealand.

Corporate donations

We welcome corporate cash donations of any size and at any time of year, though they are most popular in the lead-up to the end of the financial year due to their positive tax implications. Myeloma Australia is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a deductible gift recipient and has charity tax concession status. Donations can be allocated towards a specific project or purpose, or they can be put towards our most pressing unmet needs.

Event engagement

Myeloma Australia runs a number of fundraising and awareness events annually, as we work to increase public awareness about and funding for myeloma. You may choose to run an event in your workplace and mobilise the engagement and support of your employees and their families.

Sponsorship

We offer opportunities for businesses to sponsor an event, a publication, or a specific project.
In-kind donations and pro-bono services: We welcome corporate partnerships that are not cash based, but rather involve the provision of in-kind donations and pro-bono services.
