MyeStory submission
Share your myeloma story to offer comfort, raise awareness and help others feel supported. Your voice matters.

Your story matters.
Whether you’re living with MGUS, smouldering myeloma or myeloma, or you’re a partner, carer, family member or friend, we invite you to share your experience.
Personal stories are a powerful way to offer comfort, raise awareness and help others in the myeloma community feel supported and connected.
Selected stories will be shared on our MyeStory page, in our monthly eNewsletter and across our social media. We’ll always notify you before your story is published.
Thank you for considering sharing your MyeStory with us.
Guide Lines
To help you share your story, we’ve put together a few simple guidelines:
We welcome submissions from:
- People living with MGUS, smouldering myeloma or myeloma
- Carers, partners, friends or family members of people diagnosed with one of the above
Here are some ideas to help guide your writing. You don’t need to cover all of them, just what feels most relevant to you.
Introduce us to your MyeStory
How and when were you/your loved one diagnosed? What symptoms led to your/your loved one’s diagnosis? Had you heard of myeloma before?
Treatment and Care
What treatments or monitoring have you/your loved one had? What supportive care have you received or found helpful?
Emotional impact
How did you feel at different stages? How have you coped with the ups and downs?
Support
What support systems (family, friends, support groups, healthcare professionals, support organisations, community groups) have helped you the most?
Advice for others
What would you like to share with someone newly diagnosed or supporting a loved one?
Life today
How are you living well with myeloma? What brings you hope or joy? What hobbies or activities do you enjoy?
